She went on to serve for 30 years in South Korea, helping at St. Columban's clinics in Chuncheon and the island of Jejudo off the Korean peninsula.

Sister Theresa Marie returned to the United States in 1988 and was assigned to Silver Creek, where she was director of the Personal Care Department at St. Columban's on the Lake. After retiring, she continued to serve at the retirement home where she would spend her later years.

She is survived by three generations of nieces and nephews.
