Two priests walk into a kitchen. One has a mallet, and one has a cutting board. No, this is not the beginning of a joke. It's a description of this month's "Our Daily Bread."
On this episode, host Father Paul D. Seil is in the kitchen with Father Dave Richards, parochial vicar at Queen of Heaven Parish in West Seneca and host of "In a Word with Father Dave."
Father Seil has two objectives during this show: to teach a brother priest, who has never tasted a tomato, a few simple, yet delicious, new recipes, and to learn more about "In a Word with Father Dave," a YouTube video series geared towards middle school-aged students. Each episode focuses on a specific word and its potential significance to students in this age bracket.
"If talking to kids and sharing our Catholic faith through these videos helps someone out, I'm all about it," Father Richards exclaimed.
And Father Seil is all about teaching Father Richards how to prepare chicken saltimbocca, pork Milanese, and a twist on a deconstructed Caprese salad. On this show, you will also get a chance to view "In a Word with Father Dave."
So, tune in to "Our Daily Bread" on Saturday, April 8, at 6:30 a.m. and noon on WKBW-TV Ch. 7. All the day's recipes can be found at www.odbtv.org, and entire
